Expert Agreement
Last updated: April 23, 2026
1. Relationship
You are an independent contractor (1099) providing expert review services through the EV platform. You are not an employee, agent, or partner of EV. You are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and professional licensing.
2. Eligibility
You must hold valid credentials in your claimed domain(s). This may include professional licenses, degrees, certifications, or documented experience. EV may verify your credentials and revoke access if misrepresented.
3. Review Standards
When reviewing AI outputs, you agree to:
- Apply your professional expertise honestly and accurately
- Score, correct, and flag outputs to the best of your knowledge
- Complete claimed reviews within the SLA window for the urgency tier
- Not accept reviews outside your area of competence
- Not use AI tools to generate your reviews (AI pre-screening is provided by EV; your review must reflect your own professional judgment)
4. Compensation
You are paid per completed review based on the urgency tier. Payment rates are displayed before you claim a review. EV may adjust rates with 30 days notice. Payouts are processed weekly.
5. Confidentiality
AI outputs you review may contain proprietary, sensitive, or confidential information from EV's clients. You agree to:
- Not share, copy, or retain reviewed content outside the platform
- Not disclose client identity or output content to third parties
- Not use reviewed content for personal or commercial purposes
- Report any suspected data breach or unauthorized access immediately
6. Quality and Performance
EV monitors review quality through client feedback, accuracy scoring, and response time tracking. Experts with consistently low ratings or quality issues may be suspended or removed. You will be notified of quality concerns before any action is taken.
7. Availability
You have no obligation to be available at any specific time. You control your own schedule by toggling your availability status. You may decline or unclaim reviews without penalty (subject to SLA windows on claimed reviews).
8. Intellectual Property
Your corrections, verdicts, and notes submitted through the platform become part of the review record and are delivered to the submitting client. EV retains the right to use anonymized review data to improve the Service.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Pending review payouts will be processed at the next regular payout cycle. EV may immediately suspend access for breach of these terms, quality concerns, or credential misrepresentation.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify EV against any claims arising from your reviews, including but not limited to claims of professional negligence, inaccuracy, or malpractice.
11. Limitation of Liability
EV's total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid to you through the platform in the 12 months preceding any claim.
12. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dallas County, Texas.
